COVID-19 & Monks Ballyvaughan

The Irish Government has asked all pubs around Ireland to shut their doors from Sunday night (15th March 2020) in light of the coronavirus until at least March 29th. Therefore Monks Ballyvaughan will remain closed to the public until March 29th. Having consulted with the chief medical officer, the Government believes that this is an essential public health measure.The Licenced Vintners Association (LVA) and the Vintners Federation of Ireland (VFI) both supported this decision, and urged all their members to close in line with the Government’s request. Oíche na mBan is the Irish for ‘Women’s Night’. On Saturday 29th of February Monks Ballyvaughan are hosting a special dining experience just for the ladies. It is a fundraiser event to raise funds for Sláinte an Chláir and Home Carers.On arrival at 7pm everyone will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco, followed by a wonderful menu created by our head chef, Daniel Daly.Dancing will start at 10pm when the doors will be opened to everyone who wants to join in on the fun.
